'Tìgear' Scottish 'Tiger's Eye' on a Scottish Gold & Silver Pendant

'Tìgear' Scottish 'Tiger's Eye' on a Scottish Gold & Silver Pendant

tìgear = tiger

The centrepiece of this beautiful necklace is a cabochon of very rare Scottish 'Tiger's Eye'. Though not technically Tiger's Eye, this is Scotland's version of the much-loved gemstone -  our version contains attractive banding of Hematite, Goethite and Limonite.

The craftsmanship exhibited in the silver and goldwork of this pendant is truly remarkable, showcasing meticulous attention to detail and intricate carvings in the form of Celtic knotwork. Partial areas of the Celtic knotwork and the claws embracing the gemstone are crafted from genuine hallmarked 'ALBA' 14-carat Scottish Gold, beautifully complementing the 925 sterling silver base.

Pendant measures approximately 44x22x5mm.  Gemstone measures 25x10mm.

Pendant will come with a 18"-20" sterling silver rope twist chain, presentation box and accompanying Scottish Gold pamphlet, as well as a Scottish Gold authenticity certifcate.  If buying online, there is free premium shipping for this item, so please choose 'free shipping' at checkout as we will automatically send this on a tracked service.

  • A mixture of Hematite, Goethite and Limonite, this Scottish version of Tiger's Eye was discovered in Haddington, East Lothian.   The specimen used in this jewellery was collected from the Garleton Hills Mine in October 1988.    Our collection here is very limited, as due to the rarity of the stone and unique location it was found there is no more to be had.
