Tektites are natural glasses formed 15 million years ago by meteorite impacts, usually black and droplet-shaped, while Moldavite is a rare olive-green variety found only near the River Moldau in the Czech Republic/Germany. Treasured for centuries as talismans, Tektites are rarer than diamonds, with just 50 tonnes ever formed.
