Scottish Beryl
From the high granite plateaus of Beinn a’ Bhuird in the Cairngorm Mountains, this Scottish beryl is rarer than a Scottish sapphire and carries the clarity and quiet strength of the Highlands. Formed deep within pegmatite veins in ancient granite, beryl from this region includes the golden-yellow variety known as heliodor—a name derived from the Greek for "gift of the sun." Its warm, radiant hue echoes the rare sunlight that dances across the mountain tops, especially striking when cut to reveal its glassy brilliance.
