Gorgeous old vintage British porcelain, featuring a house & tree scene from the Old Willow pattern, hand cut and crafted into a charming sterling silver pendant.
The pendant is beautifully set in sterling silver and measures approximately 24x14x3mm, including the bail. It comes with a complimentary 18” sterling silver link chain and is presented in a Two Skies jewellery box with a story card, making it perfect for gifting.
The tale of the willow pattern is based on an ancient love story. A peasant boy and princess were in love but the King would not let them marry. He built a large fence around the palace and arranged a suitable marriage with a Duke. Arriving by boat, the Duke found that the couple had already escaped over a bridge to an island where the Gods had taken pity on them and transformed them into immortal doves.
