Scottish Isla Rose Sterling Silver Snake Ring
Beautifully polished Scottish Isla Rose set in a 925 sterling silver adjustable snake design ring.
Due to the clever adjustable feature, this ring will fit sizes P-S (UK) and 7¾-9¼ (US) due to the open design of the band. Isla Rose measures approximately 9x6x3mm. Comes presented in a Two Skies gift box with 'Isla Rose' story card.
RESIZING ADJUSTABLE RINGS
It is quite easy to change the size of the ring yourself as long as you go slowly and are careful, manipulating the inner area of the band with warm fingers, rather than pulling at the end sections – this will help keep a round shape too. This ring will span quite a few sizes without compromising the original design concept. Once set, it is advisable not to resize again, as silver is quite soft and can become brittle and snap if bent too frequently.
Isla rose is a rare form of pink limestone found only in the west coast islands of Scotland. It is a fantastic creamy pink calcite which is naturally polka-dotted with green diopside and black pyroxene. Sometimes known as Isla Rosa, it is said to encourage a positive mood and enhance motivation.
