Scottish Chalcedony & Sapphire Sterling Silver Ring
Beautiful natural Scottish Chalcedony, delicately semi-translucent and sparkling faceted Sapphire. Chalcedony is facet-cut for a subtle sparkle, and set in 925 Sterling Silver. The Chalcedony measures approximately 9x9mm and the Sapphire 4x4mm and are both trilliant cut.
The ring is sized UK O or US 7¼ but due to the unique design of the ring it can be adjusted to ring size P or 7¾ without diminishing the design or integrity of the ring. Ring will be presented in a Two Skies box with an informative Scottish Gems story card, perfect for gifting.
Our Chalcedony is sourced from Ardownie in Dundee. A gem traditionally esteemed by Scottish jewellers , this delicately clouded variety of Agate formed throughout the country's ancient lava flows. Popular in Victorian jewellery, particularly in Scotland, where they were cut, faceted and set into 'pebble jewellery', which are fast becoming collector's items.
