'Mabon' Perthshire Smoky Quartz in a Scottish Gold & Sterling Sil
The centrepiece of this highly detailed ring is a faceted 1.25ct Scottish Smoky Quartz from the Grampians Mountain range.
Design details and gemstone collets are all in natural hallmarked 14ct Scottish Gold, on a 925 sterling silver base. The silver and goldwork on this ring is exquisite, which has been painstakingly hand-finished with highly detailed intricate carvings.
Ring is sized at R½ (UK scale) or 9 (US scale). Gemstone measures approximately 8x6mm. Band is 5mm at narrowest point (the rear), and 12mm at widest point (height of the face of the ring).

A sibling of Cairngorm Quartz, this is an exceptional Smoky Quartz which has been sourced from the Grampian Mountains range in Perth & Kinross. The quartz from this area can display a light smoky appearance through to slightly darker smoke with hints of golden colour. Clean stones produce fantastic fire and sparkle when facet cut! The Grampians have been designated as a National Nature Reserve since 1964, making these spectacular quartz specimens rare and highly desirable.
