Found on the rocky shores of South Africa, these Turbo Shells have naturally red, orange and brown shades with intermittent patches of beautiful mother of pearl. Once belonging to an abundant species of sea snail, when they are expertly cleaned, cut and polished, the shells make remarkable and unique pieces of jewellery! The species are collected for food and bait, and despite having little or no commercial value, there are sustainability measures in place.
