Scottish Carnelian Sterling Silver Snake Ring
Bright orange Carnelian gemstone, found in Scotland. Drop cut and bezel set in a sterling silver ring with a snake design band.
The clever adjustable feature allows this ring will fit sizes N-Q (UK) and 6¾ - 8½ (US) due to the open design of the band. Gemstone measures approximately 7x4mm. Comes presented in a Two Skies jewellery box with story card, ready for gifting.
RESIZING ADJUSTABLE RINGS
It's quite easy to change the size of the ring yourself. Just go slowly and be careful, manipulating the inner area of the band with warm fingers rather than pulling at the end sections. This will help maintain its round shape. The ring can span several sizes without compromising the original design. However, once set, it is advisable not to resize it again. Silver is soft and can become brittle and snap if bent too frequently.

Carnelian is born when white quartz fuses with iron oxide, which causes the crystal to flush with fiery oranges, golden yellows and rich reds.
