Old Willow Heart Sterling Silver Adjustable Ring (Choice of Pattern)
Gorgeous old vintage British porcelain, hand cut and crafted into a sterling silver adjustable ring. The clever design of the band means that this ring can span sizes L-T (UK scale) and 5¾-9¾ (US scale).
Heart-shaped porcelain piece measures roughly 20(H)x20(W)mm, though each will vary slightly as every ring is unique.

RESIZING ADJUSTABLE RINGS
It is quite easy to change the size of the ring yourself as long as you go slowly and are careful, manipulating the inner area of the band with warm fingers, rather than pulling at the end sections – this will help keep a round shape too. This ring will span quite a few sizes without compromising the original design concept. Once set, it is advisable not to resize again, as silver is quite soft and can become brittle and snap if bent too frequently.
The tale of the willow pattern is based on an ancient love story. A peasant boy and princess were in love but the King would not let them marry. He built a large fence around the palace and arranged a suitable marriage with a Duke. Arriving by boat, the Duke found that the couple had already escaped over a bridge to an island where the Gods had taken pity on them and transformed them into immortal doves.
