Edinburgh Castle Rock Sterling Silver Ring
Beautifully polished basalt from the volcanic plug upon which world-famous historic Edinburgh Castle is sited, giving spectacular views across the city. The rock is claw set in a fancy designed sterling silver wrap ring.
The clever design of the band means that this ring can be set to span ring sizes P-S (UK) and 7¼-9¾ (US). Gemstone measures roughly 8x6x3mm.
RESIZING ADJUSTABLE RINGS
It is quite easy to change the size of the ring yourself as long as you go slowly and are careful, manipulating the inner area of the band with warm fingers, rather than pulling at the end sections – this will help keep a round shape too. This ring will span quite a few sizes without compromising the original design concept. Once set, it is advisable not to resize again, as silver is quite soft and can become brittle and snap if bent too frequently.
Castle Rock is a volcanic plug in the middle of Edinburgh upon which Edinburgh Castle sits. This beautiful polished basalt comes from the 350 million year old volcanic plug itself.
