Pearl Sterling Silver Celtic Ring
Simple yet stunning, this Pearl has been frame set in a sterling silver Celtic knot wrap style ring.
Though best worn at size P or Q (UK) or 7¼-8¼ (US), the ring will fit sizes M-R (UK) and 6¼-8¾ (US) due to the open design of the band, without drastically compromising the original design concept too much.
Pearl measures approximately 8mm diameter, and the wearing length (the length it spans your finger when worn) is around 20mm.

RESIZING ADJUSTABLE RINGS
It is quite easy to change the size of the ring yourself as long as you go slowly and are careful, manipulating the inner area of the band with warm fingers, rather than pulling at the end sections – this will help keep a round shape too. This ring will span quite a few sizes without compromising the original design concept. Once set, it is advisable not to resize again, as silver is quite soft and can become brittle and snap if bent too frequently.

When a mollusk gets sand or another foreign body stuck inside its shell, it soothes the irritation by coating the speck with layer upon layer of iridescent nacre - this is how pearls, of various shapes, sizes and colours, are formed.
