The focal point of this one-of-a-kind necklace is an exquisitely crafted 8-carat cabochon of premium Isle of Iona Marble, carefully obtained from just beyond the shoreline of the sacred isle. Crowning the Iona Marble is an enchanting deep green Tourmaline gemstone, expertly faceted to enhance its brilliance and add a captivating sparkle to the design.
The craftsmanship exhibited in the silver and goldwork of this pendant is truly remarkable, showcasing meticulous attention to detail and intricate carvings in the form of Celtic knotwork. The front Celtic knotwork and the collet embracing both gemstones are crafted from genuine hallmarked 'ALBA' 14-carat Scottish Gold, beautifully complementing the 925 sterling silver base on which they rest.

Iona Marble is found by diving from the beaches into under-water seams on the Isle of Iona, Scotland. This 2700 million year old rock is composed of a unique combination of serpentine and limestone. Known by some as the sacred stone of Columba, green marble has been treasured and crafted by jewellers for centuries. On the Isle of Iona the fishermen would not leave port without their lucky green gems. It has been used by healers to help the body return to a time unhindered by the stresses and pollution of modern times.
