Chunky Meteorite Sterling Silver Ring
Out of this world! Unique and genuine Meteorite shard ring, set in 925 sterling silver, with a hammered, antiqued finish. The clever design of the 4mm band means that this ring is adjustable through sizes M-U (UK scale) and 6¼-10 (US scale).
Meteorite measures roughly 25x18mm. Ring sits 8mm proud of finger when worn. Comes with a colourful story card, which incorporates a statement of authenticity.

RESIZING ADJUSTABLE RINGS
It is quite easy to change the size of the ring yourself as long as you go slowly and are careful, manipulating the inner area of the band with warm fingers, rather than pulling at the end sections – this will help keep a round shape too. This ring will span quite a few sizes without compromising the original design concept. Once set, it is advisable not to resize again, as silver is quite soft and can become brittle and snap if bent too frequently.
A meteorite is a solid piece of debris from a source such as an asteroid or a comet, which originates in outer space and survives its impact with the Earth's surface. Using a metal detector these are found by Adam's friend Hans in the deserts and fields of Argentina, in large craters in Campo Del Cielo; hence the name, which translates as 'Fields of Heaven'. Falling to the earth millions of years ago, they are a composition of nickel and iron in the form a rough droplet - the shape that they formed as they fell to earth!
