Robert discovered this Scottish gold nugget in 2014 in Leadhills, South Lanarkshire. This is a stunning 'buttery' nugget with beautiful sculpture and lots of character. It is speckled with minor quartz inclusions. The smooth top has been naturally polished by centuries of river movement, and the rough parts reveal where it was clamped by the rocks, telling the story of its ancient journey. This naturally high-purity gold, typical of Highland gold, is guaranteed to be a minimum of 17 carats.
