Bawbee Coin Antique Sterling Silver Ring

Dated 1679, this frame set cast of an antique coin which is set in 925 silver, allows you to carry a wee piece of Scottish history with you!  The clever design of the antique finish sterling silver band means that the ring can be carefully adjusted to span sizes O-W (UK) and 7¼-11 (US).

Bawbee measures approximately 23mm diameter.  Comes presented in a Two Skies branded jewellery box with story card, ready for gifting.

RESIZING ADJUSTABLE RINGS

It's quite easy to change the size of the ring yourself. Just go slowly and be careful, manipulating the inner area of the band with warm fingers rather than pulling at the end sections. This will help maintain its round shape. The ring can span several sizes without compromising the original design. However, once set, it is advisable not to resize it again. Silver is soft and can become brittle and snap if bent too frequently.
