This hammered sterling silver pendant features a fascinating and unique Ammonite fossil negative. An ammonite negative is a natural fossil imprint. It is the concave "mould" or hollow left in the surrounding rock matrix when an original ammonite shell dissolves or splits away, leaving a highly detailed, reversed impression of the creature's spiral geometry and ribbing pattern.

The pendant is beautifully set in sterling silver and measures approximately 33x20x8mm, including the bail. It comes with a complimentary 18” sterling silver link chain and is presented in a Two Skies jewellery box with a story card, making it perfect for gifting.
