Old Willow Doves Sterling Silver Pendant
Gorgeous old vintage British porcelain, hand cut and crafted into a sterling silver pendant. Featuring the doves from the famous poem! Although each pendant is unique and measurements will vary by a few millimeters, they measure roughly 35x16x4mm, and each is supplied with a complimentary 18" sterling silver link chain. Pendants come with a colourful 'Old Willow' story card and a Two Skies presentation box.
The tale of the willow pattern is based on an ancient love story. A peasant boy and princess were in love but the King would not let them marry. He built a large fence around the palace and arranged a suitable marriage with a Duke. Arriving by boat, the Duke found that the couple had already escaped over a bridge to an island where the Gods had taken pity on them and transformed them into immortal doves.

Bought this pendent for my wife. It’s 18 years and porcelain is that year. Looks lovely however not given it to her yet until may.
