Scottish Red Jasper Sterling Silver Celtic Ring
Our native Jasper tends to be a very deep cherry red, with attractive black Hematite and white Quartz markings! You will receive the unique ring in the photographs. Hand-mined and polished Scottish Red Jasper set in a beautiful 925 sterling silver Celtic Knot wrap design.
Red Jasper stone measures approximately 15x10mm. Ring band is 3mm at narrowest point (rear). Height of the ring (length it will cover your finger) is approximately 27mm.
This stunning ring can cleverly span ring sizes M-Q (UK) or 6¼-8¼ (US) without compromising the design concept too much . Ring will be sent in a Two Skies tartan gift pouch or box, with Scottish Jasper pamphlet, ready for gifting.

RESIZING ADJUSTABLE RINGS
It is quite easy to change the size of the ring yourself as long as you go slowly and are careful, manipulating the inner area of the band with warm fingers, rather than pulling at the end sections – this will help keep a round shape too. This ring will span quite a few sizes without compromising the original design concept. Once set, it is advisable not to resize again, as silver is quite soft and can become brittle and snap if bent too frequently.
Our native Red Jasper comes from the east coast of Scotland. The common red colour is due to natural iron ore inclusions, but sometimes it is also yellow, brown or green in colour, and very rarely, even blue! Our stones are a mixture of red jasper, white quartz and hematite. Red Jasper is thought to increase strength, energy, stamina, focus and determination. Particularly here in Scotland, it was known as 'the warrior's stone' or 'stone of endurance' and was used for controlling and grounding.
