Flodden Jasper Sterling Silver Pendant
This piece of Jasper was found in the Branxton village area, in Northumberland, England. This jasper would have formed in the area in which the Battlefield of Flodden took place in September 1513. It was a pivotal fight between the Scots and English, which saw the fall of King James IV. It also led to the building of the capital city's 'Flodden Wall' defences, shaping Edinburgh as we know it today.
